| Skrócony biogram | Sociologist and art historian at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on gender inequalities, sociology of work, women’s career trajectories and the negotiation of gender norms in professional and intimate life. She is currently conducting research on male feminist allyship and gender equality in intimate partnerships. PI of 3 research projects funded by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the National Science Centre, on gender inequality, work, reproductive patterns and partnerships. She primarily examines experiences in specialized and managerial roles in business, academia and politics. Her research employs qualitative methodologies, including biographical interviews, focus groups interviews, discourse analysis and other. She is the author of articles and book on gender inequalities, women’s advancement, professional careers and memory studies. Beyond academic research, she is engaged in public sociology in collaboration with civil society organizations. She has cooperated with NGOs and cultural institutions. She is also active in developing educational initiatives for young researches, teaches courses on critical epistemologies, intersectionality and gender equality in research.

| Realizowane projekty badawcze | Principal Investigator of 3 research projects and member of a research teams in projects funded by National Science Center, the German Research Foundation or Norwegian Funds (migration, cross-border mobility, place attachment, rural sociology, consumer behavior, family relations). Her current and recent research project include: 2026-2029 Research project „Work, success, relationships, and support? A qualitative study of negotiating and reproducing gender patterns in border areas in the narratives of partners of successful women and the women.” Grant from the National Science Centre, “Preludium” program (No. 2025/57/N/HS6/03868). | Działalność dydaktyczna | Wiktoria Morawska is an instructor at the Graduate School for Social Research at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She also teaches at the Institute of Cultural Studies at the University of Warsaw. During her academic mobility at Central European University in Vienna, she conducted teaching observations and participated in activities related to academic teaching and research development. |
