| Skrócony biogram | Marcin Serafin is an assistant professor of sociology at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. His dissertation, which investigated the working time of Warsaw taxi drivers, focused on the role of social time in the economy. For his dissertation he received from the Max Planck Society the Otto Hahn Medal for outstanding scientific achievement. He was the head of the Max Planck Partner Group for the Sociology of Economic Life. He was the former editor of economic sociology. perspectives and conversations.
