Clément Poupard

Clément Poupard is a historian specializing in the Early Modern History of Knowledge, with a particular focus on the History of Education. He completed his PhD on Early Modern mnemonics at the École Normale Supérieure de Paris and the Università di Torino. His principal research interest lies in the circulation of pedagogical methods at a European level. Within this framework, he is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher on the ERC project KnowStudent at the Instytut Filozofiii Socjologii Polskiej Akademii Nauk (Warsaw). His current research explores the art of memory in Central‑Eastern Europe and the introduction and subsequent transformation of the Latin method Janua Linguarum in Poland.
