The Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Polish Academy of Sciences announces an international competition for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the project Structures and Futures: the Polish Panel Study POLPAN 1988-2023

We seek a postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in sociology, political science, economics, statistics, psychology or another social science, with strong quantitative methodological training and interests. The researcher will be a member of the team led by dr. hab. Irina Tomescu-Dubrow and prof. dr. hab. Kazimierz M. Slomczynski at IFiS PAN, which implements the project “Structures and Futures: Polish Panel Study POLPAN 1988-2023.” This project is funded by the National Science Centre, Poland (2022/45/B HS6/04090).

Number of positions: 1
Salary: 9500 PLN brutto/month
Possibility to start: February 3, 2025
Modes of work: Onsite/Hybrid preferred, but Mobile/Remote acceptable We offer an opportunity to work on an interdisciplinary research project with considerable international collaboration and joint publications. The position offers a salary of 9500 PLN brutto/month for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal for 12 more months.
